What you need to know

New pet levels (Town Hall 18)

Diggy gets levels 11 to 15. The new upgrades are reserved for villages with a level 18 Town Hall.

New Overcharge levels (Town Hall 18)

Overcharge gains new levels for two buildings: the Builder's Hut and the Monolith. Here too, the upgrades are reserved for Town Hall 18.

Changes for new and returning Chiefs

The Rookie Pass is being retired, but if you have already started its path you will still be able to finish it. Seasonal Challenges take its place, available from Town Hall 3, so new Chiefs can learn how to play Clash and get more interesting rewards right from the start. From now on, the Gold Pass can also be purchased from Town Hall 3, and Season Pass and Gold Pass rewards will depend on your Town Hall level. Note: these features arrive from September and will first be tested on a subset of accounts, so not every player will see them straight away.

The redesigned battle end screen

The battle end screen has been completely rethought: on top of a brand new look, including a dedicated one for winning a raid, it gives a clearer overview of the loot you took and of your bonus rewards. The changes apply to the end screens of every kind of Home Village battle.

Improvements to the Clan War League modifiers

Battle modifier difficulty now ramps up as originally intended for those climbing the higher leagues: all three Titan leagues move up one step.

The Rubble Witch and the Rubble Knights

Rubble Knights no longer lose health over time, and the Rubble Witch can now summon up to 10 of them instead of eight.

The league modifiers

The Legend league modifiers remain unchanged.

Quality of life improvements

You no longer need a free Builder to use Wall Rings.

After selecting the Revive Spell, you can cast it directly on the icon of a fallen hero to bring them back exactly where they were defeated.

The Hero Journey now shows replacement quests to players who do not own the Epic equipment a task requires: in that case the alternative task will ask for a Common equipment belonging to the same hero.

You can now fully disable the battle speed-up button from the advanced settings.

After donating to the Capital gold hoard, the window no longer closes: it stays open and shows your clan's contributions in real time.

Bug fixes

Fixed the housing space taken by the totems summoned by the Totem Spell (from 20 down to one). Previously this bug let the Dark Crown charge faster and let the Monolith Arrow reach its deployed-troop weakening thresholds sooner than intended.

Fixed the bug that prevented the Rage Spell from appearing when players with a low level Town Hall requested Clan Castle troops.

Fixed the bug that made the Glowy Candle melt already during the scouting phase instead of from the start of the battle.

Fixed a bug that stopped some Hero Journey nodes from unlocking properly. If you were affected, you can now claim the rewards you missed by opening the Journey from the Hero Hall.

Fixed a Hero Journey bug that showed a quest pop-up on nodes without quests. It was only a visual issue, so you did not miss any quest.

Fixed a bug where recalled and then redeployed troops would sometimes get stuck on or around walls.

Fixed a bug where the Meteor Golem lost the effects of the Rage Spell and stopped targeting enemies when its troops split, were launched or merged.

Fixed a bug where the Dragon Duke's Rocket Backpack dash sometimes started without its flame or stopped too early. Also fixed the bug that prevented the Fire Bellows from letting the Duke breathe fire in the direction he was facing.

The Dragon Duke now completes his Rocket Backpack dash before he can be defeated, so it will no longer stop abruptly if the Duke is revived by the Phoenix and the pet's power ends mid-dash.

Notice: you have seven days

You have seven days to claim the rewards from the Hero Journey nodes that failed to unlock, so don't forget! The only exception are hero skins, which will not expire.

The village awaits!

August brings new levels for one pet and for Overcharge at Town Hall 18, changes that smooth out progress for new and returning Chiefs, a redesigned battle end screen, improvements to the Clan War League modifiers and plenty of quality of life improvements and bug fixes!

Keep fighting!
